Spencer Custom Trumpets
After more than 14 years of continuous refinement, the standard B♭ models are currently receiving praise for outperforming many instruments costing twice as much.
All Spencer B♭ trumpets use M/K leadpipes and tuning slides crafted in the USA, the same premium components often chosen by players as upgrades for professional instruments built by Yamaha and Vincent Bach. Will expertly fits these to industry-leading valves and bells to give all Spencer trumpets a remarkable evenness of tone, long-lasting durability, and outstanding value for players at every level.
More details about how a Spencer trumpet is constructed can be found on the Anatomy of a Spencer trumpet and FAQ pages.

Commercial Model
Bright and focused
“Will makes great lead horns for legit players.” — Wayne Bergeron
The Spencer Commercial model was originally designed for classically trained players who don’t want to change mouthpieces in order to produce a brighter and more compact sound in the high/lead horn register.
The bell is made of red brass with a phosphor bronze flare. This is paired with a No. 4 leadpipe made of compressed nickel allowing the instrument to produce an efficient and focused tone in the high register whist being relatively creamy and warm within the rest of the range.
